Get Ready For The 2018 NBA Finals With A Look Back At The Best Games From The Last 3 Years

Okay, now that those are out of the way, this blog is for those that think the opposite – at least for the first three. Everyone knows it’s the fourth time in a row these two teams have met in the NBA Finals, but that’s not to say there hasn’t been classics the first three years. This is to remind you about those games and that if you don’t watch the NBA Finals because it’s Cavs/Warriors and claim to be a basketball fan you’re a gigantic loser.

Alright, rant over. I present to you the best games from the 2015-17 NBA Finals involving the Cavs and Warriors.

Game 7, 2016 NBA Finals
Cavs won 93-89
Notable plays: The Block. Kyrie’s three in front of Steph. Kevin Love forcing a stop when switching onto Curry late.

Game 3, 2017 NBA Finals
Warriors won 118-113
Notable plays: Kevin Durant’s three to seal the game. Iguodala’s block of LeBron’s three that would have tied it. All of Golden State’s nine 3s in the first quarter.

Game 5, 2016 Finals
Cavs won 112-97
Notable plays: Draymond Green being suspended. Andrew Bogut suffering an injury that knocked him out of the series. Kyrie and LeBron combining for 82 points.

Game 1, 2015 Finals
Warriors won 108-100 in overtime
Notable plays: Kyrie Irving suffering a fractured knee in overtime. Kyrie’s block on Steph Curry’s layup in regulation. Mozgov’s two free throws to tie the game.

Game 3, 2015 Finals
Cavs won 96-91
Notable plays: Delly’s and-1 in the fourth. All of Steph’s threes in the fourth.
